Hālau O Keikialiʻi - Kumu Kawika Alfiche
Kawika is the Kumu Hula (Master teacher) for Hālau o Keikiali'i, and is the Director for the Kaululehua Hawaiian Cultural Center in South San Francisco and has been teaching hula and Hawaiian cultural arts for over 30 years. With a mission to preserve and perpetuate all things Hawaiian, Kawika spends his life learning, teaching, and sharing his culture through the hula and cultural arts and continues to teach throughout the globe. The primary focus of Hālau O Keikialiʻi is on cultural traditions, including hula kahiko (ancient dance), hula `auana (modern dance), oli (chant), mele (traditional songs), himeni (modern songs), nā mea hula (arts, crafts, implements), lole hula (hula attire), 'ōlelo (language), and mo'olelo (stories).
Hula Ohana ʻO Kentucky
Established in 2014 at Fort Knox, KY. Consisting of military retirees and active duty families that came together for the love of hula and the appreciation of our culture. We come together in unity, to teach, to learn from one another, and to share our Aloha Spirit with the community.
ʻIke Roa
The vahine of 'Ike Roa have a deep passion for learning and sharing 'Ori Tahiti, the cultural dance native to the Islands of Tahiti, French Polynesia. From the rhythmic traditional drum beats of the 'Ō'tea to contemporary melodies of the 'Aparima, the vibrant music, dance, and spirit of Tahiti fuel our enthusiasm and dedication. Our commitment and love for 'Ori inspire us to continue learning together in creative ways! Māuruuru roa for inviting us to present at Louisville's first Polynesian Cultural Festival!
Aveluga - Siva
Avealuga is a siva samoa dance group formally established in 2025. Avealuga initially started as a family group to share in cultural expression with loved ones. Avealuga in Samoan means to uplift and we hope to empower others and express our joy and love through our dance.
Hui Kaululehua
Founded in 2022, Hui Kaululehua is a Louisville-based arts organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Hawaiian culture, primarily through the practice of Hawaiian hula. Hui Kaululehua is under the lineage of Kumu Kawika Hiwahiwa Alfiche, our hula teacher and a renowned culture bearer, with over 30 years of experience in preserving and sharing Native Hawaiian traditions. Hui Kaululehua offers dance and music classes for all ages, where students explore hula through dance, music, language, and history. Hui Kaululehua is thrilled to host our Polynesian brothers and sisters at Aloha Lou!

We are hosting a community dance workshop with Kumu Kawika Alfiche! This workshop is beginner friendly and open to keiki (kids) starting age 6. Come learn hula and music and share aloha with us!
